Who is responsible for the protection of your personal data

In conformity with the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in the possession of Private Persons, its bylaws and regulations (which will hereafter be referred to as the Law or the Regulations), Proteína Animal, S.A. de C.V., hereafter the Company), whose offices are located on Kilómetro 2, carretera San Juan-Guadalajara, San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco, C.P. 47000, assumes full responsibility for the collection and processing of your personal data, the purposes for which it will be used, and the protection of such information.

Purposes for which personal data are collected

Your personal data will be used in order to enable the Company to provide you with information about the products or services you request, deliver those products or services to you, issue invoices for those products or services to your name, and, in general, so that we can carry out all necessary actions to provide you with the products or services you are interested in purchasing, for which we will request that you provide us, in turn, with certain information and/or documents.

The information we usually request from you may include, but is not limited to:

• a) Full name (names and last names).
• b) Address.
• c) Home telephone number.
• d) Cellphone number.
• e) Registro Federal de Contribuyentes - Mexican Federal Taxpayers' Registry Number (RFC).
• f) Clave Única de Registro de Población - Mexican National ID Personal Number (CURP).
• g) E-mail address.
• h) Hand written signature.

Options and means to limit the use or disclosure of personal data

The Company will not use or disclose your personal data for purposes other than those mentioned in this Privacy Notice. If you wish to limit the use or disclosure of such data, you can do so by e-mail application to our Personal Data Protection Department at arco@proan.com, in which we ask you to provide the following specific data:

• a) The date on which you disclosed your personal data.
• b) Your full name (names and last names).
• c) Digitized copy of your official ID for use in electronic media (scanned copy).
• d) Telephone number, including long distance code (LADA).
• e) Write “Limitation of use or disclosure of Personal Data” as the subject of the e-mail.

Exercise of ARCO rights

As the lawful holder of your personal information, you can exercise at any time any of your rights to access, rectification, cancellation and opposition in regards to your personal data (ARCO).

If you wish to exercise any of your ARCO rights, you can do so by e-mail application to our Personal Data Protection Department at arco@proan.com, in which we ask you to include the following:

• a) Your name, address and e-mail address so that we can convey our official reply to your application.
• b) Digitized copy of your official ID for use in electronic media (scanned copy) in order to verify your identity.
• c) A clear and precise description of those personal data in regards to which you seek to exercise any of your access, rectification, cancellation and opposition rights.
• d) Date or approximate date on which you provided the Company with your personal data.
• e) Any other element or document that may facilitate the identification and location of your personal data.
• f) Write as the subject of the e-mail, the specific ARCO right you wish to exercise (“Access”, “Opposition”, etc.).
• g) Your telephone number, including long distance code (LADA).

All applications to obtain access to your personal data will be deemed to have been completed at the issuance of the electronic documents containing the Company’s official reply that will be sent to the e-mail address you provided in your application.

If, as a result of the processing of the documentation that you are submitting to the Company for ID verification, it is found that you are not the holder of the personal data in question, you will be duly informed of this situation via e-mail to the address you provided in your application and your application will be deemed completed.

Data sharing with third parties

The Company may share the personal data you have provided us with other companies providing fiscal, audit or legal services, as well as courier and package delivery companies.

The sharing of personal data that is mentioned in the preceding paragraph will only take place when strictly necessary and only in order to fulfill the obligations derived from the business relationship that the Company has with you, compliance with fiscal obligations, and scheduling and verifying the delivery of the products you have ordered from the Company.

Procedure and media for the communication of changes to this Privacy Notice

Any changes or updates to this Privacy Notice will be made available to the public by visible notices at the Company’s corporate offices and posted on the Company’s corporate website, and you may at any time request a copy of those changes or updates in the Company’s Privacy Notice at the e-mail address arco@proan.com.

Consent to the collection of personal data

In conformity with the Law, it is understood that you tacitly consent to the collection of your personal data when this Privacy Notice is made available to you and you do not manifest your opposition, which you may do in the next paragraph, and you may include your name.

Your personal data will be shared only in accordance with the provisions set forth in the “Data sharing with third parties” section of this Privacy Notice, and only the necessary data will be shared in order to fulfill the Company’s obligations derived from the relationship that exists between you and the Company.

If you grant your consent, there will be no consequences whatsoever to you, because your personal data will only be shared in accordance with the “Data sharing with third parties” section.

You can also withdraw your consent at any time without any retroactive effects, for which it will be necessary for you to send an e-mail to our Data Protection Department at the address arco@proan.com, in which we ask you to include the following:

• a) Full name.
• b) Digitized copy of your official ID for use in electronic media in order to verify your identity.
• c) Telephone number, including long distance code.
• d) Write “Withdrawal of Consent” as the subject of the e-mail.

Information on the Internet

We hereby inform you that whenever you access our online website, it automatically receives data via cookies and web beacons such as what kind of web browser and operating system you have, what other internet pages you have visited recently, what links you have explored, your computer’s IP address, and the website you closed just before accessing ours.

Cookies are text files that download automatically and are stored in the hard drive of the user’s computer whenever they browse a specific webpage or website and enable an Internet server to store certain data, like preferred pages for viewing online, and some codes and passwords.

Web beacons are images that are embedded in pages or websites as well as in e-mails that can store information about the user’s IP address and interaction time on websites, among others.
